Modest by Design wants you to be 100% satisfied with
your purchase. Our goal is to make your online
purchase just as easy as if you were in our store!
EXCHANGES/RETURNS:
In-stock Items: (items that can be ordered through the website)
Contact Modest by Design within 2
days of receiving product. Returns must be received by
Modest by Design Clothing Company within 7 days to be
accepted!
Modest by Design will give you an RMA (Return
Materials Authorization) code to place on the outside
of the package. Returns received without an RMA will
be refused; this will void your return due to the time
restriction of the return process!
All tags must be attached and alterations cannot have
been made to the product. Modest By Design Clothing
Company reserves the right to refuse returned items.
You will be charged a restocking fee of 15% for each
item returned.
- Special Orders: (items that have to be ordered over the phone)
Special orders may not be exchanged. A refund of 50% may be given if the following procedures are followed:

NOTE:
The standard procedure in the Bridal industry is NO
refunds, as it causes the store to hold excess
inventory. Be aware that most formal gowns require
alterations; many need only a simple alteration that
may not cost much, so consider this option before
returning your purchase. Look for a competent
seamstress in your area and ask the seamstress for
references before allowing them to work on your
dress.
Only two prom/semi-formals gowns may be shipped to one
address. Bridal parties have no limit on the number
of dresses being shipped to one address!
** International Customers-additional fees will apply
for local tariffs and custom fees!
All exchanges must be received within 7 days of the
customer receiving purchase, with a copy of original
sale receipt. All products must be in resalable
condition; we reserve the right to refuse any
exchange. The customer will be charged for shipping to
exchange unless the exchange is due to error on our
part or manufacturer's defect. Modest by Design
Clothing Company will not be responsible for lost or
undelivered returns, so we encourage customers to insure
all returns. All exchanges must have a phone number
and email address enclosed to contact the customer if
necessary. Sorry, NO C.O.D. If the replacement item(s)
is/are on back-order, you will be notified within 24
hours.
Security and Privacy:
Submission of your personal information (name,
address, credit card information, etc.) is completely
voluntary. All information you provide to
Modest by Design is transmitted securely and saved for
sales purposes by us only. Your email, name, address,
etc. are only used for billing and shipping purposes
and will not be sold to and/or used by any third
party. Modest by Design will occasionally notify its
customers of upcoming events, sales, and promotions,
and may use any medium (email, US Postal mail, phone)
to do so. We reserve the right to refuse any sales
